Our skills camp staff has over 35 years of combined experience.
The head instructors are Frank Furdero and Vinny Jalaba. Both are Michigan
hockey stand-outs and have played at the High
School, Junior B, and Junior A levels. Their skills and work ethic have
earned several State Championships and multiple awards. Frank and Vinny were
also members of the Detroit Compuware team from 2001 to 2003 where they won the Jr. A National Championship in 2002.
This Duo has been teaching similar hockey programs to kids of all ages and
are eager to show you a few tricks. They possess the skills and know what is needed to be a champion.
In the skating session of the skills camp, players will learn
proper skating strides, stopping, starting, cross over, and backward
skating techniques that the players will use the rest of their hockey
The stick handling session of the skills camp, players will learn
proper stick handling techniques, open ice moves, breakaways, weight
transfer, and puck protections.

training, players progress through a series of drills at their maximum
Player skills includes fundamentals of skating, shooting,
and stick handling.
